Smart shopper @ Mad Butcher

Thanks to a "smart" shoplifter from Palmerston North, New Zealand criminals are on the Dumbest International Criminals' list! Here's what happened: The shopper stole around $40 worth of meat from The Mad Butcher in Palmerston North. As there were security cameras in the shop, the staff members knew who stole the meat and just as a joke they grabbed the person's photograph from the security video and put it on a poster that said "Lucky shopper of the week".

The poster was stuck outside the shop and said that the winner should come in to claim the prize! Believe it or now, the thief saw the poster and actually came in to claim the prize! Needless to say, the cops were called and the person was arrested. Can you believe that?
