EuroBookings.com
The following is a paid review: I came across Euro Bookings this week and when I visited it, I expected to see just another online booking website like many other similar ones on the market. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the website offers so much more than just an online booking system.
I was greeted on the home page with room rates for hotels in Rome, Paris and London. Clicking on a hotel's name took me to a page with a lot of useful information about that hotel: Brief description, number of rooms, chain it belongs to, address, link to a map, hotel policies, accepted credit cards, booking form, photo album etc. The website promises "Lowest rates - No reservation fee - No cancellation fee - No payment in advance!"
Apart from a clear cut navigation and ease of use, the website also provides a lot of useful travel information. Clicking on the "Hotel guide" link at the bottom of the page took me to a group of very interesting travel blogs categorised by location. The blogs talked about everything from Belgian chocolates to the Costa Blanca in Spain. All in all, a very well built and managed website with a good offer for travelers wanting to book their accommodation online.
